Sheehan Health Network and Roswell Park Cancer Institute would like to remind women to take time to evaluate their own state of health on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Sheehan Health Network located at 425 Michigan Avenue in Buffalo, New York. Ladies are invited to a health and wellness event that will include beauty and health vendors, a light brunch, interactive âladies onlyâ panel discussion, a presentation by Dr. Chi â Chen Hong from Roswell Park Cancer Institute about breast cancer and the potential benefits of âhot bathsâ as a treatment and conversation with Peggy Brooks-Bertram, DrPH, PhD and Barbara Seals Nevergold, PhD, the bestselling authors of Go, Tell Michelle: African American Women Write to the New First Lady and founders of the Uncrowned Queens Institute for Research and Education on Women.
