(Buffalo, NY)To celebrate the season of giving, the staff at Sheehan Health Network has selected two families to receive a gift of $400.00 each.

"In our community there are many people who are experiencing difficult times," says Annise Taylor Director of Development and Outreach at Sheehan Health Network. "The staff wanted to help bring a little joy and make a difference in these families lives. We only wish it could be more."

One family includes a mother and five children and the other family of five, are patients of the Emerson Young Clinic, Sheehan's satellite office located in the Commodore Perry Housing Complex.
The Sheehan Health Network staff raised the funds by donating $2.00 each week to participate in "Dress Down for Charity Day". This year the employees made the decision for the funds to be donated to two needy families selected by the Outreach Department. In addition, the families will receive a special invitation to attend the February Grand Opening of Sheehan's new primary outpatient unit.

Sheehan Health Network, a medical facility providing access to quality primary care and preventive medical care, is a vital part of Buffalo's health care community. Health services include Family Care (including OB/GYN), Alcohol and Substance Addiction Treatment and Rehabilitation (Outpatient Chemical Dependency Counseling Program, Suboxone Clinic, Inpatient Detoxification Program, and Inpatient Rehabilitation), Diagnostic Services (Mammograms and CT Scans) and Family Dental Clinic.
